Ptolemaeus

Ptolemaeus is a large crater located 9°S 2°W near the centre of the near side of the Moon. Ptolemaeus measures 164km along its longest dimension.

The very distinct crater Herschel is to the north. The large crater Alphonsus is touching the southern edge of Ptolemaeus.
